Painting ”Dancing in fire”
Inspired by the International women’s day, March 8,th.
This painting is for all girls, women and other people who fight for equal rights for both men and women.
International women’s day is NOT a day to say congratulations and give flowers. It’s a political day. A day to illustrate how women all over the world are overlooked and are a second class citizen in all aspects. In many countries, girls are not allowed to go to school, women can not walk alone outdoors, many want women to stay at home to take care of sick kids because the man’s work is more ”important”.
You think this is only in foreign countries? Take a good look at your own country. Who takes care of the home? How many women do you know are chairmen in a company? Who stays home with sick kids? Do women in your country have the right to decide about their body?
You think we’re equal? Look again.
